Boule operates in the filed of laboratory medicine with particular emphasis on hematology.
The operation comprises in-house development, manufacture and marketing of complete hematology systems including instruments, reagents, controls, calibrators, support and service. Boule's unique approach is to offer a Total Quality Concept (TQC) by delivering complete hematology systems ensuring reliability and quality. Boule is represented on three continents - Europe, America and Asia - by three operating subsidiaries, Boule Medical AB, Stockholm, Sweden, Clinical Diagnostic Solutions Inc, Plantation, Florida, U.S. and Boule Medical Beijing Ltd Beijing, China.
Boule's primary market is small and medium-sized hospitals, clinics and laboratories within outpatient care, as well as other diagnostics companies in the form of OEM customers within both human and veterinary hematology.
Boule was established as a separate company in 1992 and has a history dating back as long as to the1950s when Erik Öhlin developed the first European cell counter. Boule is a privately owned company with approximately 100 shareholders.
